JOB TITLE: Summerville Concierge
DEPARTMENT: Administration
REPORTS TO: Service and Events Coordinator
SUMMARY: The concierge is a hospitality focused professional who attends to the needs of residents and guests and helps them organize their accommodations on the Summerville campus. Duties include making reservations, assisting with scheduling and providing transportation on and off the campus.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Demonstrates good customer service or guest relation skills and provides resident satisfaction techniques
· Drives community vehicle for residents to routine destinations such as grocery store, department stores, pharmacy, or other destinations.
· Drives residents for special events or outings.
· Operates a golf-cart safely to provide on campus transportation between buildings, parking, etc. to residents.
· Assists residents in moving throughout the campus to their car and/or assists with delivering groceries/supplies to residents when requested.
· Assists with routine and special events on the campus.
· Assists service and events coordinator with other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be a Class E or CDL licensed driver.
· Must be at least twenty-one years of age.
· Experienced in driving 12 passenger vehicle as well as golf carts on property.
· Ability to develop and implement transportation schedules.
· A minimum of two (2) years’ experience as a concierge or related customer service experience.
