**Hours:** 12:00 pm - 8:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with rotation every fourth weekend (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM located at BP)

**Position Overview:**
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities. You will perform preventive maintenance tasks, respond to work orders, and address various repair needs in a timely and efficient manner. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and in rooms to ensure optimal functionality.
- Address work orders promptly, whether received through TELS or verbally directed.
- Conduct basic plumbing tasks, including removing and installing toilets, faucets, garbage disposals, and other appliances.
- Perform basic electrical repairs, such as replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and light fixtures.
- Conduct general painting and drywall repairs as needed.
- Maintain the fire panel alarm system, including responding to alarms, replacing defective components, and resetting systems as necessary.
- Conduct visual inspections of premises to identify and address deficiencies.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors regarding repairs and maintenance projects.
- Assist in inventory control to ensure adequate supplies and materials are available.
- Maintain accurate documentation of daily maintenance activities, including inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Adhere to company policies and OSHA regulations, following proper procedures and techniques at all times.
- Complete all scheduled training sessions on time.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all staff and visitors.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
