Part-time Pre-School Assistant Teacher

Job Requirements

• Assist lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Help supervise children and ensure their safety at all times.
• Provide help and support with classroom management..
• Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and behavior.
• Support the social and emotional development of children
• Maintain a well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.·
• Observe and document children’s progress and behaviors, reporting any concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Manages small and large groups of students in a classroom environment·
• Ability to lift 25lbs

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements

· Child Development Associate Credentials preferred

· 2 years’ experience in a teaching capacity preferred

· Be able to pass a drug screen and meet background check requirements
