Position Summary: We are seeking a meticulous, self-sufficient, and resourceful accountant with strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of accounting policies and principles. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving, embraces new challenges, and is eager to contribute to an organization dedicated to providing essential services to our clients. Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic are essential. This role is fully on-site at our Bayview headquarters, with occasional travel to our other campus.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Entering daily financial transactions and maintaining the ledger consistent with generally accepted accounting standards in the areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and other financial duties.
- Cash management and bank deposits.
- Assist in preparing interim financial statements to the satisfaction of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and the BOD.
- Prepare income and expense reports and studies as needed for special events, grants, and restricted donations.
- Assist in the planning and budgeting process.
- Assist with payroll, preparation and reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual audit.
- Interact with department heads, clients and customers to resolve financial disputes and inquiries.
- Special projects as needed.
Qualifications
Education/Training:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with 1-2 years accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit sector
- Expertise with QuickBooks Online (Advanced)
- Extensive knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
