St. Ann's Home & School, in Methuen, MA, is a leader in special education and residential programming, offering private day programs, child and adolescent residential services, along with a broad range of outpatient services.
St. Ann’s Home is looking for a Full Time Maintenance Technician, 40 hours per week. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a current driver’s license, one year of facilities maintenance or related experience.
The maintenance technician will perform a wide variety of tasks including painting, patching of drywall, general maintenance, carpentry projects, yard work, furniture moving, snow shoveling, receiving deliveries, light plumbing and electrical duties, appliance repairs, custodial tasks and other tasks as needed by the maintenance foreman.
The part time maintenance technician must be able to lift and carry 30-50 pounds frequently, 50-100 pounds occasionally. This position requires extensive walking, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing and reaching above shoulder level. This position also requires contact with outside contractors both in person and on the telephone. This position requires working with various cleaning fluids which may contain ammonia, bleach, ether etc.
