What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional position at St. Anne Grade School?
The Special Education Paraprofessional under the general supervision of the Special Education Coordinator, Classroom Teacher and building administrators will work to fulfill duties of classroom/student aide as directed. Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- works with small groups of students to reinforce material assigned by the teacher.
- assists with individual children who need specific assistance.
- assist with individual students or small/large groups of students to reinforce learning of material or skills initially introduced by the teacher.
- assist with the supervision of students in all school-directed activities assigned.
- other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A valid/registered Paraprofessional License.
