What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Guard position at ST ANNE INSTITUTE?
St. Anne Institute is now accepting applications for lifeguards. The starting hourly rate for this position is $23.00 with a current Lifeguard Certification.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Emergency Response/Supervision
- Maintain constant supervision of students in the pool area; Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of students in the event of emergency.
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services. Administer emergency First Aid and CPR, as necessary.
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times and relate to a wide variety of students.
- Communicate safety concerns with Program Administrators, managers, or supervisors.
General
- Maintain New York State Department of Health records and ensure New York State Department of Health requirements are met.
- Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe environment. Keep deck free of obstructions.
- Abide by the NYS Justice Center and the SAI Codes of Conduct/Ethics.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
