Responsible for the collaborative approach and implementation of an entity specific facility-wide infectionprevention and control program. Reports to the entity Director of Quality and Patient Safety Officer.
Plans, develops, implements, administers, and evaluates the Annual Infection Prevention Planand programs for entity.- Ensures all regulatory requirements are continually complied with including the public reporting ofhospital acquired infections, reportable diseases, and other data as requested. Develops,implements, and evaluates annual entity Infection Prevention Risk assessments – then facilitatesthe setting, prioritizing, meeting, and evaluating of aligned infection prevention specific goals.
- Maintains Hand Hygiene Compliance as a top Infection Prevention goal for the entity with monthlyreports to the entity Board through the Quality Reporting Structure.
- Facilitates and/or supports initiatives to reduce and prevent healthcare-acquired and communityacquired infection Facilitates the development, implementation and updating of infectionprevention and control policies and procedures in collaboration with the operating group and enterprise.
- Coordinates and co-facilitates the Infection Prevention and Control Committee in accordance with regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- Bachelor Degree Health Care related field required

Certification in InfectionControl (CIC) from the Certified Board of Infection
Control and Epidemiology(CBIC) – required within 6 months of eligibility for
certification (Colorado State Requirement) - Five years of clinical or related experince, preferred
- Knowledge in epidemiological principles.

$37.76 - $60.47 / hour
