SUMMARY Performs high quality food services to patients, residents, staff and visitors in a cost efficient, timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Completes production records.
Works on trayline, assembling meals for patients and residents.
Works in dishroom, pot and pan area, scraping trays and scrubbing pots and pans.
Cleans assigned areas following established cleaning procedures and schedules.
Displays polite, customer service attitude to patients, residents and customers.
Performs financial transactions using a cash register.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
Complies with the Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, regulations, and Standards of Conduct relating to the position and agrees to report any suspected violations of law or Standards of Conduct.
Complies with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Attends all mandatory meetings and programs.
Maintains a safe work environment, utilizing standard precautions and complying with hazardous waste procedures at all times as described in St. Anthony's Safety Manual.
Maintains the confidentiality of patient, resident, employee and organizational information.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, patients, families and other employees of the organization.
