Job Summary:
As a Admissions Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the success of our organization by working closely with Clinical and Administrative teams to drive census growth. Your responsibilities will encompass managing admissions processes, promoting the facility to potential residents and families, and building strong relationships with referral sources. You will also address inquiries, resolve insurance issues, and ensure a seamless admissions experience for all parties.
This dynamic role requires exceptional multitasking skills, the ability to adapt quickly, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities, making this position both fast-paced and fulfilling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clinical, and Administrative teams to achieve census growth goals.
- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources, including case managers, hospitals, physicians, and community organizations.
- Manage inquiries from prospective residents and families, providing accurate and clear information about services and the admissions process.
- Oversee bed availability, medication pricing, and insurance-related issues to ensure a smooth admissions process.
- Effectively manage people, reports, and data to support operational efficiency.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, and referral sources.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 1 year of experience as a Marketing/Admissions Coordinator in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship-building.
- Thorough knowledge of government insurance programs (Medicaid, Medicare, etc.)
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or higher in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
- LPN license (preferred but not required).
- Familiarity with PointClick Care software is a plus.
