As a Tire/Lube Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires for various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.
Duties
- Perform tire installations, rotations, and repairs using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires to identify wear patterns and potential issues.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tire-related tasks.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering recommendations based on their needs.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tire technology, and best practices in automotive repair.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in automotive service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tire maintenance, automotive repair, and related services.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to tire services.
