Housekeeping Aide

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and other facilities.
• Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
• Assist with residential painting and minor repairs as needed.
• Carry out custodial duties in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any issues or repairs needed.
• Engage in industrial cleaning practices for specialized areas as required.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

Experience

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and standards is a plus.
• Skills in floor care, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces.
• Experience with porter duties or facilities maintenance will be advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
