Our school is seeking devoted, nurturing Elementary school teachers that feel comfortable constructively enforcing school schedules and rules while creating their own lesson plans and providing a nurturing environment where children can learn and thrive. Our school supports creative learning and is looking for enthusiastic and motivated educators to fill these positions.
The ideal candidate for the current openings will hold a Bachelor's degree and is a team player. This position requires the ability to create lesson plans and engage with students on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Teach students in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Establish and maintain a safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
- Meet with parents to discuss students' progress, behavior issues, and other concerns.
- Maintain a safe and stimulating environment by enforcing rules of acceptable behavior.
- Effectively communicate and work with parents, teachers, and administrators.
- Facilitate learning through use of creative teaching strategies and methods of assessment that are aligned with the curriculum.
- Plan lessons and activities that are aligned with the school's educational goals.
- Work with other teachers to improve the quality of the school's educational program.
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not a requirement.
