Full Time, Day Shift, M-F 8am-4:30pm

- JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education
- Current licensure or permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
- Experience
- Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures; ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation. 3-5 years Oncology experience preferred. BLS required. Requires leadership, organization, written, and verbal communication and excellent interpersonal skills.

- Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Frequent exposure to unpleasant odors. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting up to 100 lbs. Carrying up to 40 lbs. Pushing/pulling up to 350 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
- JOB SUMMARY
- The Clinical Navigator is a Registered Nurse with experience in oncology services who navigates patients throughout the process of the continuum of cancer care from diagnosis, treatment, to survivorship in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, and according to agreed clinical guidelines, with the objective of coordinating high quality patient care across all care delivery sites. Using the nursing process, provides education and resources to facilitate informed decision-making and timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the cancer continuum. This Navigator will be tumor site specific.
