- Education
- High school graduate.
- Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role, preferable in a materials environment.
- Physical
- Normal hospital environment. Normal\corrected eyesight. Hearing within normal range. Continuous work with average weight objects (16-25lbs.) and\or frequent pushing\pulling or lifting heavy weight objects (50lbs. ). Operates manual and motorized pallet jacks, computer, automated supply dispensing system, and telephone.
- JOB SUMMARY
- The Central Supply Supervisor is responsible for: Directing the day to day assignments and activity of Stockroom personnel. Managing the replenishment portion of the automated supply dispensing system for par leveling clinical areas. Managing the warehouse portion of the Lawson Materials Management System. Interviewing potential job candidates. Performing annual employee performance appraisals. Assisting with the development of the annual budget. Conducting the annual Physical Inventory. Assuring a clean and uncluttered work environment. Assisting in other duties as required. Routinely, assigns and responsibly directs staff. This position is required to utilize independent judgment.
