- JOB REQUIREMENTSEducationA Masters in Divinity or related degree or Bachelor’s Degree and experience is preferred. Acceptable equivalents include a degree in psychology or counseling.
Certification by an appropriate clinical pastoral agency preferred Membership with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains desirable or other Associations of Professional Chaplains, Clinical Pastoral Education is preferred, bilingual skills to communicate in multiple languages preferred.ExperienceTwo to three years’ experience in a hospital/Hospice setting preferred. Solid communication and relational skills and ability to interact positively with a diverse audience. For Catholic Deacons explicit approval or confirmation of the local bishop in collaboration with the administration of the institution. (ERD #21)PhysicalThis is a safety sensitive position.
