- Job Objective/Summary: The Patient Access Supervisor directs all aspects of patient access functions including: scheduling, pre-registration, insurance verification/eligibility, and registration. Monitors the daily activities of Admission personnel. Quality Controls the work product. Assists with establishing departmental policies. Ensures compliance with all departmental policies. Trains the new employee. Monitors payrolls for accuracy and timely completion, assists with preparation of bi-weekly payroll report. Ensure adequate staffing, working additional hours as necessary. Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: High School degree or equivalent is required, with previous experience in healthcare related field, preferably admissions and/or billing processes. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Admission/PAT/Scheduling departments. Serves as LHS resource in registration procedures. Must have experience on computers, calculators, CRT's, and printers. Typing experience required. One year supervisory experience minimum. Benefits & Perks:
