Description
The Helpdesk technician is the first level of support for the helpdesk area. This position is responsible for managing all venues of assistance from walk-in traffic to phone, ticket & email support. This person must be able to work well with the IT team and have excellent customer service skills for an expected start date of June 2025.

Typical Qualifications
Associates Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field is acceptable
Ability to successfully pass a Level I background check.
Minimum of 3 years technical background with computer experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles of PC and or Macintosh use and operation.
- Knowledge of Office Applications, Windows/Mac operating systems and various pc peripheral devices (such as scanners, digital cameras, printers, and so forth).
- Knowledge of LANs/WANs
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with university employees and the community
