The Campus Life department at St. Catherine University is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Residence Coordinator . This integral role is grounded in our commitment to enhancing the student experience and advancing social justice within our vibrant community. As a Residence Coordinator, this position is at the heart of our mission to provide innovative and educational services that uplift voices and foster meaningful moments for our diverse student body with a focus on those students who live on campus.
In this live-on position, this position will support approximately 320 students across multiple residence halls, offering guidance and advocacy in their personal, academic, and leadership journeys at St. Kate's. Responsibilities include supervising and developing a team of up to 18 Resident Assistants (RAs), supporting living-learning environments, and contributing to various campus committees and student leadership initiatives. This role involves regular interaction with residents to address academic concerns, mediate peer conflicts, and manage personal issues, all while playing a key role in student retention and satisfaction.
This position will have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple facets of the Campus Life department, including Residence Life, Orientation, Student Government, the Information Center, and Clubs and Organizations. This position offers a unique chance to make a significant impact on our campus community while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Include : Supervision
- Recruit, train, support, and evaluate Resident Advisors
- Meet weekly with RAs
- Support paraprofessional staff
- Uphold consistent departmental accountability model for direct paraprofessional staff
- Track coaching celebrations and concerns, providing consistent feedback weekly
Community Development & Student Support
Crisis Response & Support
Collaborative Partnerships & Special Projects
Area Management - Operational Support
Conduct Management

Salary Range : $44,000

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
