The Athletics Department at St. Charles Community College is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for Men's Soccer. This position will assist the Head Coach in the organization, management, and administration of a NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer program.

The Athletics Department at St. Charles Community College is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for Men's Soccer. This position will assist the Head Coach in the organization, management, and administration of a NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer program.
Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Practice and game coaching, recruitment of prospective student athletes, scouting, strength and conditioning, travel arrangements, off-season program, fund raising, soccer camps, equipment distribution and inventory.
- Responsibilities also include assisting in recruiting, transporting athletes to and from competition, equipment inventory management, organizing and conducting practices; and participating in and promotion of fundraising projects.
- The successful candidate must be student-oriented with empathy for the academic demands of the student-athlete and must possess understanding of the skills, techniques, rules and strategies of the game of soccer.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, men's soccer coaching experience at the college level (head/assistant), head or assistant men's soccer coach at the senior high school level, intercollegiate playing experience.
- Demonstrate effective organizational, promotional, recruitment, fund raising, and computer skills.
- The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and exhibit a strict adherence to NJCAA, College, departmental rules and regulations, and a commitment to student achievement in academics.
