Assistant Men's Baseball Coach - 75032

St. Charles Community College is seeking a full-time Assistant Men's Baseball Coach who will assist the Head Coach in the organization, management, and administration of Division I men's Baseball program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Recruits prospective student athletes.
• Conducts practices and coaches games.
• Handles the scouting, strength and conditioning training, travel arrangements, off-season program, fund raising activities, softball camps, and equipment distribution and inventory.
• Demonstrates effective organizational, promotional, recruitment, and fundraising strategies.
• Demonstrates high ethical standards and exhibits a strict adherence to NJCAA, College, departmental rules and regulations, and a commitment to student achievement in academics.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, men's baseball coaching experience at the college level (head/assistant), head or assistant men's baseball coach at the senior high school level, intercollegiate playing experience.
• Demonstrate effective organizational, promotional, recruitment, fund raising, and computer skills.
• The successful candidate will be a person of integrity with high ethical standards and exhibit a strict adherence to NJCAA, College, departmental rules and regulations, and a commitment to student achievement in academics.
