Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Position Summary
SCC is seeking candidates for the Coordinator of Training for Customized Solutions. Will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering workforce training and professional development programs tailored to the needs of business, industries, and community organizations. This role collaborates with employers, instructors, and subject matter experts to design and implement customized learning solutions that enhance workforce skills, support economic growth, and align with industry demands.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage customized training programs and professional development courses tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with faculty, instructors, and subject matter experts to develop curriculum and training materials.
- Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and securing training facilities and resources.
- Leads the monitoring of program outcomes with faculty and instructional staff. This includes monitoring program outcomes, collecting feedback, and assessing effectiveness to ensure continuous improvement.
- Prepare reports, grant proposals, and funding requests to support workforce initiatives and secure resources.
- Represents SCC at business and workforce development events, networking meetings, and advisory councils.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to engage with industry partners and stakeholders.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of workforce development strategies, training methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Ability to analyze workforce trends and design training solutions that align with industry demands
- This position will require travel within the community and surrounding areas to meet with business partners and deliver training sessions.
- Flexible working hours will include evenings, holidays and/or weekends as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Workforce Development, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in workforce development, corporate training, continuing education, or a related field.
- Experience in developing and managing customized training programs is highly desirable.
- Will be subject to a criminal background check and may require fingerprint participation.
