St. Charles Community College is located just west of St. Louis, in the heart of growing St. Charles County. At St. Charles Community College, we have a passion for student success. St. Charles Community College is seeking part-time music faculty members in the area of private instrumental lessons. This person will teach private lessons, as needed, with the possibility of teaching music courses to music majors and / or non-music majors depending on experience. He or she may play their instrument and / or prepare students to perform for additional departmental needs as they arise (ensemble concerts, faculty recitals, commencement, other campus events).
Current Needs Include :
- Cello Instructor
Qualifications : This person must demonstrate teaching and performance skills on their instrument(s). Band, orchestral, and / or jazz ensemble experience is required. A Bachelor's degree in the field of music is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
