Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Cardiology Specialist to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities:
• Examine patients, diagnose cardiac disease processes, and provide comprehensive treatment plans
• Perform patient examinations, obtain medical histories, and record subjective and objective findings
• Order and interpret laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic procedures as needed
• Utilize risk calculators to assess patients and stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and medications
• Administer and prescribe medications according to state law and practice guidelines
• Collaborate with other specialists to deliver patient-centered care
Requirements:
• Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant course of study and certification
• Unrestricted licensure in the state of Oregon and DEA registration
• Ability to establish and maintain a Practice Agreement with a Supervising Physician through OMB
• Current ACLS certification required
