Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals within the Medical Surgical Unit. This role requires a strong commitment to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care practices.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care conferences to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in patient care processes and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
- Documentation: Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Complete required documentation, such as incident reports and medication administration records.

Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing (ASN,ADN,BSN) degree required.
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of [State].
