This job communicates effectively with co-workers, patients, family, and visitors. Provides a safe work environment for the patient and performs all functions as delegated by the staff Registered Nurse, and / or via written protocol, as approved by the Medical Director or Staff MD.
Education
Required -Graduate from accredited paramedic program with a license to practice in the State of Louisiana
Work Experience
Required -4 yearscurrent paramedic field care experience
Preferred - Prior air medical transport experience
Certifications
Required -National Registry license to practice in the State of Mississippi
CPR Healthcare Provider Certification
Preferred - BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to and experience working with and maintaining confidential information.
- Ability to and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
