St. Clair County Day Program, Inc. d/b/a New Day Counseling Services seeks a Masters level counselor to provide outpatient assessment and treatment services to individuals experiencing substance use disorder. This full-time position will require the individual to work with adolescents and family members in a day treatment and/or school setting.
- Services: Assessment, Individual, Group and Family Counseling
- Location: Pell City, St. Clair County, Alabama
- Working hours: 40 hours per week. Four (4), ten (10) week quarters with scheduled time off between quarters. Occasional evenings and weekends
Required:
- Ability to provide thorough documentation of service delivery to all clients
- Knowledge and ability to comply with ADMH/Medicaid standards
- Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or other behavioral health field
Preferred:
- LPC,LCSW,LMSW or LMFT
- Minimum two (2) years experience in adolescent substance abuse treatment
- Experience administering ASAM Placement Assessment
