Summary
This key position performs financial oversight and business leadership for St. Clair’s physician practice groups and population health entity. Serves as the financial liaison with physicians, monitoring financial performance, discussing monthly results and incentives, and works closely with practice management to provide financial input to improve operations and enhance services. Provides support in establishing volume targets and financial guidance for annual operating and capital budget development, and assists with practice acquisitions. Works cohesively with St. Clair Medical Group Chief Operating Officer and Service Line Directors and has a dotted-line reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. The position also has financial responsibility for St. Clair Physician Partners, a population health entity comprised of an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) and Clinically Integrated Network (CIN), partnering with other local Health Systems.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and a minimum of ten years’ relevant work experience in healthcare
- MBA, MHA or CPA
- Previous MSO or Physician organization financial experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Previous experience providing financial oversight to physician practices.
- Knowledge of healthcare analytics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
