Summary
This position is accountable and responsible for performing continuous and comprehensible clinical management of adult and geriatric patients in the physician’s offices and/or assisted living and skilled nursing home facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Currently licensed to practice as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of motor vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or other science-related program.
- Master’s, post-Master’s and/or Doctorate in nursing with concentration in adult, family or gerontological nurse practitioner.
- National certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) in field of concentration.
- Two years of previous experience as a nurse practitioner in ambulatory, acute and/or long term care setting.
- Approval for prescriptive authority privileges in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
