Summary
While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital, this position has the primary responsibility for patrolling the Hospital complex, remaining alert for fire and/or safety hazards, and providing a safe and secure Hospital environment for patients, employees, and visitors.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Act 235 Certification with Firearm Training (PA State Lethal Weapons Trainings)
- Completion of one of the following:
- Act 120 trained or equivalent State/Federal Police Office Trainings and three (3) years minimum experience in armed law enforcement or security
- Five (5) years minimum of prior law enforcement experience with firearm and annual fire arm training maintained
- Current, valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
- Fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a security or law enforcement position in a healthcare setting.
