Summary
While performing duties related to St. Clair Health, this position is responsible for surveillance (data collection), problem analysis, certification of data, rounds and intervention activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must meet one of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, possess a current license to practice professional nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and three years of clinical experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Medical Technology, Epidemiology or related field and three years of clinical, healthcare experience.
- Master’s Degree in Public Health
- Certification in Infection Control or if not currently certified, certification is required within five (5) years of hire.
- Proficient understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system and data management/analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Infection Prevention
- Previous experience in a healthcare clinical setting
