St. Clair Hospital's Nursing Assistant Training Program is a 3-week onsite paid program that provides education and training to work as a Clinical Nursing Assistant on a nursing unit. The paid program begins Monday 5/19/25 through Friday 6/6/25. The program is followed by a three to four week floor orientation working as a Clinical Nursing Assistant providing basic patient care and assisting in more complex care to patients under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Minimum Qualifications
1. High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
1. A fundamental understanding of personal computers and familiarity with the Windows operating system.
3. BLS certification.
2. Prior healthcare experience.
