Job Overview
We’re seeking an enthusiastic Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. If you’re someone who enjoys making a real difference in people’s lives, you’ll love the opportunity to help our patients achieve the smile they’ve always dreamed of—while ensuring they enjoy the process from start to finish. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in providing top-notch care and support, working with both children and adults to ensure they have a comfortable, fun, and successful orthodontic experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist orthodontist during procedures, including placing and removing orthodontic appliances, while ensuring patients feel relaxed and confident.
- Take X-rays and medical imaging as needed to support individualized treatment plans.
- Educate patients on how to care for their smiles and their appliances, making sure the process is clear, enjoyable, and engaging.
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Prepare treatment areas by sterilizing instruments and ensuring supplies are ready, so each visit is efficient and comfortable.
- Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide friendly, supportive care that encourages an overall positive experience.
- Follow all infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff.
- Collaborate with the team to create a fun, supportive atmosphere while improving overall clinic efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant or in a similar role (preferred).
- Familiarity with X-ray techniques and dental imaging processes.
- Proficiency in using dental practice management software.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make patients of all ages feel comfortable and cared for.
- A genuine desire to work in a team-focused, fun, and professional environment where patient care is the top priority.
