Main Responsibilities
- This role involves collaborating with our team to create a dynamic monthly activity schedule that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- You will support and facilitate activities across various timeframes, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The successful candidate will plan and oversee community outings and events that resonate with resident needs and preferences.
- You will propose engaging activities tailored to individual residents and their families.
- A key aspect of this position is visiting residents who are confined to their rooms, promoting interaction through one-on-one engagements.
- Familiarity and compliance with safety policies concerning infection control, OSHA requirements, and applicable federal and state regulations are essential.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the department to guarantee a clean, safe space for all is also required.
- You will be responsible for ordering and managing supplies critical to enhancing activities.
- Completing required assessments and documentation as directed by the Activities Supervisor is a crucial task.
- Assistance in transportation arrangements for resident excursions when necessary is also part of this role.
- Maintaining a professional demeanor in interactions with residents, families, and colleagues is vital.
Salary and Benefits
- The pay rate for this position is $13-$15 per hour, based on experience.
