Key Responsibilities
- Oversight of higher-risk resident care activities, including infection control measures for wound care, catheter use, incontinence care, skin care, and medication administration.
- Collaboration with the Quality Assurance and Assessment (QAA) Committee to enhance care standards and outcomes.
- Leadership of infection prevention initiatives and documentation alignment with facility policies.
- Hands-on nursing care and mentorship of staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Maintenance of open communication with residents, families, physicians, and the care team.
- Participation in unit performance improvement programs to continually enhance resident care and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Active RN license in Ohio.
- Long-term care and geriatric nursing experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience (minimum of 1 year) is a plus.
- CPR certification required.
