A hospital in Washington is looking for an experienced Echo Tech for a travel contract.

The right candidate will have 2 full years of experience.

Job Requirements

Hold an active BLS certification.

ARDMS - RDCS (AE) certification required.

CCI-RCS certification required.

Schedule Information

Shifts : 5-8s or 4-10s (4-10s most likely).

Weekend Requirement : Yes.

Holiday Requirement : Yes, possible.

Call or Standby requirement : Yes, occasional, 45 min order to scan begin.

Unit Specific Information

Department specific orientation will be provided.

Will do both outpatient and inpatient depending on need at site.

Sites located about 20 minutes (max) from tertiary center (SJMC).

All sites use same equipment and EMR.

Additional Details

ARDMS, BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Verification, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) Verification.

Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax - you are able to re-add that back in.

Department : ECHO / CARDIAC SONOGRAPHER

Common types of imaging / studies performed : Echocardiography

Experience or 'Must have' skills : Experienced in TTE, TEE, contrast, bubble studies.

Average # of studies per day : 7.

EMR - Epic, Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson).

Department Specific Equipment : Philips Epiq 7, iE33.

Radiologist in-house : Cardiologist in house.

Do they have to start IV's? No.
