What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant I position at St. Clement of Rome Roman Catholic Parish Sun City?
Working with our Director of Operations, this person will learn and execute all the necessary actions for the proper organization, operation, and maintenance of the parish properties. This will involve bookkeeping; human resources; computer spreadsheet and word processing use; parishioner record input and maintenance; coordination, liaison and scheduling with all parish councils, commissions, committees and groups; ordering supplies, equipment, and outside services; working with vendors and service providers; and all other related duties. This person will also be responsible for locking up the parish buildings on weekdays. When the Parish Maintenance Services are unable, this person will also be responsible for opening the parish buildings, including weekends if necessary.
This will be a full-time, salary, exempt (no overtime pay) position. The weekly hours include the regular office hours of the parish office (8 a.m. to 3 p.m., M-F), as well as other requirements which may on occasion involve more than 40 hours per week.
