Find your purpose working as a Behavioral Health Technician with CentraCare at Clara's House! In this role, you will work directly with patients ranging in age from 3-18 years old to gain strength, self-worth, healing and hope! Our Behavioral Health Technicians are involved in patient care activities that include hygiene, activity, nutrition, therapeutic interactions and behavioral interventions, patient safety rounds and vital signs.
Schedule
- Full-time | Clara's House
- 64-80 hours every two weeks | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- No weekends or major holidays!
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $18.11 per hour and increases with experience
- Pay range: $17.28 - $25.89 per hour
- $2,000 hiring bonus for eligible candidates

Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training initial and on-going training provided
- Must be able to effectively handle escalating behavior and utilize physical safety holds with aggressive patients
- A valid Minnesota driver’s license, a driving record in good standing, and the minimum amount of insurance liability coverage may be required
- Two years of college with courses in psychology, sociology, and/or social work preferred
- Six months experience in nursing assistant or similar role preferred
To be eligible for the hiring bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
