Cleaning Lead | Hospital Surgery

Find your purpose joining CentraCare and the St. Cloud Hospital as a Surgical EVS Lead (Operating Rooms Cleaning), working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. We are seeking qualified applicants with good communication and leadership skills for Monday-Friday evening shifts.

This is a fast-paced position that requires interacting and communicating with others while sanitizing patient rooms and public spaces throughout the operating rooms.

Please Review before applying:

• 3 to 5 years of previous experience in commercial housekeeping or commercial cleaning is required. or
• Previous Leadership experience is required. (Prior work as a Lead/Supervisor/Manager)
• You will need to communicate fluently as you will have direct contact with patients, doctors, nurses and other staff members in our vital surgical wing.
• You will be required to wear Hospital Scrubs (pants) in this position.

Schedule:

• Afternoon/Evenings 2:30pm - 11pm | 8-hour shifts
• Full-time | 80 Hours every two weeks
• NO weekend/holiday rotation, “as-needed” only.

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

• Wage rates start at $17.75 per hour, offering more with experience.
  • Full wage scale for this role: $16.59 - $24.92
• After 3pm shift differential is $1.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Environmental Services field and/or 3-5 years of previous Leadership experience.
• Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including waste disposal, flooring and UV light machines as assigned.
• Act as Lead assisting in overseeing daily activities and coordinating/checking the work of others, but not as a Supervisor.
• Tasks include assisting Supervisors with rounding, inspections and audits, insuring quality of work is maintained for multiple assigned teams.
• Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.
• PPE is required and provided to protect your health and safety!
