What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse | Pediatrics position at St. Cloud Hospital?
We are privileged to care for the children in our community. Magnet-designated St. Cloud Hospital has Peds, PPCU and PICU beds to care for kids at all levels of illness or injury. Nurses in these roles also have an opportunity to broaden their experience by floating to our Level 2&3 NICU. In addition to providing exemplary care to kids, you will also provide nitrous oxide for procedures, respond to pediatric codes, and participate in sedation programs with intensivists. Schedule
- Full-time | 60-72 hours every two weeks | Onsite
- Rotating day/night | 12-hour shifts | 7am-7:30pm & 7pm-7:30am
- Every other weekend (Fri-Sun) | Every other holiday
Pay and Benefits:
- Pay based on experience and degree
- Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $40.33 per hour
- Bachelor’s in nursing starting at $41.34 per hour
- Master’s in nursing starting at $42.37 per hour
- Pay range: $40.33 - $60.50 per hour
- Earn extra pay for working evening/night/weekend shifts
- $3,500 hiring bonus and $5,000 relocation bonus for eligible candidates!

Qualifications
- Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
- BSN required within three years
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) required for all Pediatric RN’s who have completed PICU orientation
- Obtain national Certification in area of specialty within one year or upon meeting necessary requirements
