Pay
- $15-17 per hour
- Pay rate based on qualifications and experience
- Part-Time (Year-Round), Not Benefit Eligible
Hours of Work
- Hours include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Hours may vary based on programming and rentals.
Typical Duties Performed
- Greet members and guests, establishing positive public relations and knowledge of the facility and department to answer any questions.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Acknowledge and prepare food in accordance with Health Department regulations and guidelines.
- Correctly operate all food service equipment.
- Clean food service equipment, facility, and restrooms in accordance with Health Department regulations and guidelines.
- Accurately handle all cash transactions and accurately record items sold.
- Keep accurate records of inventory of products.
- Open and close the facility safely and securely.
- Ensure the safety of all participants by preventing and responding to emergencies.
- Educate on and enforce all park and recreation facility rules, regulations, and policies, maintaining a consistent discipline policy for all staff, patrons, activity participants, spectators, and parents/guardians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What is needed to apply for this job?
- Job seekers should be age 15 or older
- Minimum one (1) year prior experience in a food service setting
- Current CPR-AED/First Aid certifications or will to be certified
- Availability to work a variety of hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of ages in a diverse community
- Knowledge of accurate cash handling and receipts
- Ability to lift/move 50 pounds
