Job Description
The Accounting Program at St. Cloud State University has a full-time fixed-term non-probationary position open to:
- Teach introductory and undergraduate courses as needed
- Perform advising duties
- Participate in committee and project work at the program, school, and university levels.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited school or MBA from an AACSB accredited school, and a CPA or CMA or CIA in good standing
- Teaching experience in accounting and teaching evaluations required
- Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work effectively with students, program colleagues, and others in the university and business community.
- Ability to teach and work effectively with persons from culturally diverse backgrounds
- Willingness to provide service to the university community
- Willingness to contribute to student growth and development
Preferred Qualification
- Teaching experience in accounting at a four-year university
- Professional accounting experience
Other Requirements
Must be able to teach courses in-person on campus and online asynchronous and/or in a multi-modal format.
