RATE OF PAY: $11.00/HR. TIPS
JOB SUMMARY: Professionally prepare and dispense alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to guest and cocktail wait staff. Maintain the integrity of the bar including the responsibility of monetary transactions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must possess or be capable of obtaining a Bartender License, Certification in T.I.P.S., (Training in Intervention Procedures for Servers of Alcohol) and Responsible Beverage Servers Certificate. Previous bartending experience is preferred.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have the ability to bend, stoop, and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to handle secondary smoke. Must have good communication skills, remain courteous, and professional with guests and staff. Must possess good math skills. Must be able to lift forty (40) to fifty (50) pounds for stocking bars and changing soda.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Ability to provide service to guests in a timely and responsible manner. Maintain essential supplies, garnishes, and stock the bar to facilitate this service. To observe and communicate to their supervisors problems resulting from system failure and guest behavior. Take appropriate steps to maintain an orderly Casino atmosphere.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
