JOB SUMMARY: Sell and redeem coins and tickets for guests and floor personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent, preferred. A minimum of one (1) year of high volume cash handling experience preferred. Banking or casino experience preferred. Candidate with related cashiering and customer service background preferred.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment with a high degree of concentration. Must be courteous, alert, neat, and friendly. Quality guest service must be the primary concern. Must be capable of carrying/lifting fifty (50) pounds of coin. Manual dexterity required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Sell and redeem coin and tickets for guests and floor personnel as specified by Policy and Procedure guidelines. Responsible and accountable for impressed amount of cash drawer. Must process transactions accurately and maintain window variance to a minimum. Perform any other duties assigned by Cage Supervisor. During slow times, will be asked to help with cleaning responsibilities of the Casino, such as: cleaning machines, pushing in chairs, and dumping out ashtrays.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
