What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher (PT) position at St. Croix Casino?
JOB SUMMARY: Properly clean, store, and maintain kitchen dishware and utensils. Perform other duties as requested, especially during slow hours.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. Previous kitchen experience with basic skills, preferred.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. Ability to maneuver in confined areas during entire shift. Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment. Must be able to stand, bend and walk for eight (8) hours. Ability to tolerate excessive heat generated by the kitchen. Must be able to tolerate cleaning and sanitizing chemicals in food service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Scrape and rinse dishware and utensils. Operate dishwasher. Scrub and scour pots and pans. Store cleaned items in proper locations. Assist with other duties as requested by Supervisor. Help maintain clean working conditions.
Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory trainings. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
