What are the responsibilities and job description for the Slot Technician (FT) position at St. Croix Casino?
RATE OF PAY: 11.50/HR. TIPS
*Possible Pay Increase of 0% - 3% After 90 Days.
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining excellent guest service by insuring all slot machines are in proper working condition. Will assist in the installation and removal of all games. Perform preventative maintenance and repair machines whenever necessary. At times, may be required to perform duties of Slot Attendant.
QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must have technical ability. Previous education and/or experience in electronics, computers, video/mechanical slots preferred but not a requirement.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must be able to work an eight (8) hour shift in a sometimes very busy, noisy, secondary smoke filled environment. Ability to lift and move machines. Must be able to interact with guests and co-workers. Must be capable of maintaining a pleasant, professional personality in stressful situations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Install or remove games, as needed. Trouble shooting and repair of games. Preventative maintenance of all gaming machines. Assisting guests whenever necessary. Sign all necessary forms for equipment check out/in. May, at times, perform the duties of Slot Attendant. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position and adhere to departmental and company policies. St Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin reserve the right to make changes to this job description whenever necessary.
