Table Game Dealers

JOB SUMMARY: As a Table Games Dealer, you will deal the table games to players according to the rules of the game and provides excellent, friendly, professional service to every guest player. You will pay off winning players, collect chips from losing players, and answer questions concerning the games.

QUALIFICATIONS: Native American preference. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age. One (1) year previous blackjack dealing experience or completion of the In-House Dealer Training Program preferred. Must have a clear and distinct speaking voice. Must have the ability to get along well with guests and co-workers of all personalities. Must have good counting skills.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS: Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to work inside a confined area of the Pit during the entire shift. Must be able to maneuver in a confined area, stand for long periods of time and accurately and rapidly deal games for 60 continuous minutes. Must have the ability to tolerate secondhand smoke in a smoke-filled environment. Must be able to maintain composure and exhibit a pleasant, professional personality in stressful situations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Greet guests and deal games accurately and rapidly. Deal two (2) cards to each player and self, placing one of his/her cards face up. Issue additional cards to players requesting such until player indicates desire to “stand”. Issues additional cards to self after all players have indicated their desire to “stand”. Dealer must stand on a total of seventeen (17) or more and must issue additional cards to self if total card count is sixteen (16) or less. Compare own hand against each players hand and pays off or collects players’ chips according to the rules of the game. Explain the games in a courteous manner when asked by guests or players. Forward all complaints and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the position, adhere to and enforce all departmental and company policies, and attend all mandatory training. Must comply with and enforce all safety policies and rules.
