What are the responsibilities and job description for the CMA / LPN - Clinic Technician Primary Care position at St Croix Health?
Full-time Benefit Position Base schedule Monday - Friday 0.8 FTE (64 hours / 2 weeks)
The Clinic Technician is responsible for a variety of patient care responsibilities and other related duties in the clinical setting. The clinical assistant supports the Health Care providers in the timely delivery of services per provider / physician / RN direction and according to clinic policies and procedures. Float between clinics : St Croix Falls, Balsam Lake, and Frederic Clinics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of provider.
- Room patients
- Assist providers with procedures, examinations or treatments
- Monitor patient condition during treatments, procedures or activities
- Sterilize medical equipment or instruments
- Administer immunizations per protocol
- Record patient medical histories
- Prepare medical supplies or equipment for use
- Collect specimens from patients and prepare for testing
- Complete appropriate documentation in EMR
2. Manages patient follow-up activities and responsibilities.
3. Complies with department and facility standards.
4. Other duties as assigned.

Work schedules may vary depending on the provider schedule and may start before 8 : 00am and end after 5 : 00pm
