Description
Part-time Benefit Position Base schedule - 3 days per Week Primarily scheduled at Lindstrom Clinic - may require some shifts at St. Croix Falls Clinic 0.6 FTE (48 hours / 2 weeks)
This position will primarily cover our nurse only visits, administering vaccines and injectable medication, performing blood pressure checks, catheter cares and assisting provider team as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under direction of provider.
- Room patients
- Assist providers with procedures, examinations or treatments
- Monitor patient condition during treatments, procedures or activities
- Sterilize medical equipment or instruments
- Administer immunizations per protocol
- Record patient medical histories
- Prepare medical supplies or equipment for use
- Collect specimens from patients and prepare for testing
- Complete appropriate documentation in EMR
2. Manages patient follow-up activities and responsibilities.
3. Complies with department and facility standards.
4. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education & Licensure :
Experience : Prior clinic experience preferred
Additional Information : Work schedules may vary depending on the provider schedule and may start before 8 : 00am and end after 5 : 00pm
