JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting department initiatives which further the St. Croix Hospice mission of delivering the highest quality hospice care to patients, families and caregivers. This position will focus on overall department and special project support.
RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate and manage special projects and eventsDevelop understanding and uphold St. Croix Hospice mission and brandManage department invoices, billing, reporting and schedulingEvaluate and respond to internal / external requests for information as needed in a timely mannerAssist in the management of department tactics, timelines and budgetsCreate and execute all projects with respect for patient and employee privacy and adherence to all applicable laws and regulationsSupport other staff as needed to ensure no gaps in service to internal customersPrioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressuresPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications
1-3 years' experience in project management, executive assistant, marketing and / or communications.Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written, verbal and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and ExcelKnowledge of operation of standard office equipment, clerical and administrative procedures, and systems such as filing and record keepingExperience with principles and practices of basic office managementAbility to maintain effective relationships with coworkers, partners and vendorsEvent management experience a plus
The hourly base range for this role is $23.00-$26.00. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical / dental / vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and / or eligibility for other compensation.
